The outer ring is manufactured using steel but is not heat treated. Therefore, when fitting into the groove, care should be taken to prevent damage.
Although sufficient clearance is set between inner ring (ball) and outer ring (housing), the ball should be able to freely rotate by loosely fitting the housing or shaft of the inner ring.
Incorrect assembly may cause malfunction of the equipment.
Surface of the ball is mirror machined and bush made of brass alloy is present between ball and outer ring, showing excellent abrasion resistance and is suitable for poor alignment.
