Product Characteristics

• JMC spherical plains are sliding bearings composed of inner ring (ball) and outer ring (housing).
• For GE and SB, both inner and outer rings are manufactured using heat treated high carbon chromium bearing steel (SUJ2) which is precisely machined and coated with phosphate coating to minimize friction during surface contact.
• For JS and JET, the outer ring is manufactured using carbon steel called SM45C (KS standard) or S45C (JIS standard) and the inner ring is manufactured using STB2 (KS standard) or SUJ2 (JIS standard).
• These two differ in oil filling method. And for JETS, both inner and outer ring are made of stainless steel.
• In general, surface of the ball which is developed by us is mirror machined and the outside diameter of the outer ring varies from minimum to maximum so that it can be inserted regardless whether the area is small or large.

Product Usage

• Spherical plains are especially suitable for enduring radial medium loads and are generally used when mounting bearings is required where housing related shaft alignment is poor or where inclining, rotating and tilting movements occur due to slip.
• You can also load a certain amount of thrust in both directions.

Product Types

• JMC spherical plains are basically categorized into oil lubricated types and oilless types.
• Oil lubricated spherical plain bearings have sliding contact surfaces of steel component which are mainly applied to medium loads and impulse loads in various directions.
• On the other hand, oilless spherical plain bearings are fundamentally suitable for low-speed sliding or constant direction medium loads.
