Rod Ends
Product Characteristics
- Generally, rod ends produced by JMC are composed of a spherical inner ring, in other words a housing (also called a body) with a ball and a male or female screw, a left or right handed threaded shaft and a bush (also called a bushing).
- The spherical inner ring is manufactured using heat treated high carbon chromium bearing steel and precision machining, which minimizes friction.
- The housing is manufactured using carbon steel called SM45C (KS standard) or S45C (JIS standard). Material used for bushing is brass, an alloy made of copper and zinc.
Product Usage
- Rod ends are mainly used for producing control rod link devices that smoothly transmit power to any movement by using the control rod device for controlling traction and compression loads.
- This type includes self-aligning bearings that exerts radial and thrust loads simultaneously, especially excelling outstanding performances regarding rotating and tilting motions.
- These are indispensable parts for mechanical designs and functional enhancements. It can be used for rotary motion of control mechanism and multiple link mechanism in heavy equipments, agricultural machinery, textile machinery, fiber machinery
- and all industrial machines.
Product Types
- Rod ends manufactured by JMC includes JF, JM, JFT, JMT, JFTS and JMTS.
- We can produce any similar products and non-standardized products other than the above mentioned products regardless of the required product size.
- Details will be notified upon request.
Notation indicating the Product Types
JF.. | Female screw, oil lubricated rod end |
---|---|
JM.. | Male screw, oil lubricated rod end |
JFT.. | Female screw, oilless rod end |
JMT.. | Male screw, oilless rod end |
JFTS.. | Female screw, oilless rod end, stainless |
JMTS.. | Male screw, oilless rod end, stainless |
Notation indicating the Design Characteristics
R | Right handed screw with white plated body |
---|---|
L | Left handed screw with yellow plated body |
- If nothing is indicated if the product is right handed (R) or left handed (L) like JF5 or JM5, the product is generally treated as a right handed one by default.
