These spherical bearings are medium duty self-aligning sliding bearings that are manufactured using first by heat treating high carbon chromium bearing steel (SUJ2), which are then grinded, phosphate coated and assembled.

Bearings of this type are able to load heavy radial loads and specific thrust load in both directions simultaneously and are strong against impulse load. Therefore they are suitable for low speed medium load tilting parts which can be installed for hydraulic cylinder end connection of various construction equipments and for suspension of trucks.

This type is widely adopted in Europe.

Especially, GE...2RS is a seal-attached type with a dustproof Sealant Applied on both sides.

Generally, lubrication oil should be supplied regularly. Lithium-based grease containing molybdenum is recommended.
